Verily!In the creation of the heavens and the earth,and in the alterntion of night and day,and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind,and the water{rain}which ALLAH sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its death,and the moving{living}creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein, and in the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth,are indeed Ayat{proofs,evidences,sign etc.}for people of understanding.[Al-Quran 2:164]

Sunnahs of sleeping

The Sunnahs of sleeping
1. Sleeping early
2. Locking the doors and putting out any fires or lamps
3. Making Wudoo
4. Dusting off the bed before laying down

5. Sleeping on your right side with your cheek on your right hand
6. Reading Aayatul-Kursi
7. Reciting Soorahs al-Iklaas, Al-Falq and an-Naas into your hands and then blowing (with a small amount of spittle) and then wipe over what you can reach form your body
8. Reading the last 2 verses of soorah al-Baqarah
9. Reading the supplications the Prophet used to say before sleeping
10. Saying Subhanallah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times and Allah Akbar 34 times
